Acceptable Use Policy
Effective 21 July 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy applies to everyone who uses the EvieBooking Service and forms part of our Terms of Service. It exists to keep the Service safe, lawful and reliable for everyone.
1. You must not
- use the Service for anything unlawful, fraudulent or deceptive, or to sell prohibited or illegal goods or services;
- take payments you are not entitled to take, or misrepresent what an Attendee is buying, including deposit and refund terms;
- infringe anyone’s intellectual property, privacy or other rights, or upload content you do not have the right to use;
- send spam or unlawful marketing, or email people who have not given a lawful basis to be contacted;
- upload malware, attempt to gain unauthorised access, probe or scan our systems, or disrupt the Service;
- circumvent usage limits, security or authentication, or abuse the API or webhooks;
- scrape, resell, or create a competing service from the Service; or
- use the Service to store or process special category data unless you have a lawful basis and appropriate safeguards.
2. Content standards
Content you publish through the Service (including booking pages, descriptions and images) must be accurate, must not be defamatory, obscene, discriminatory or harmful, and must comply with applicable law, including consumer and advertising rules.
3. Fair use of the API and communications
API tokens and webhook endpoints are for your own integrations. Requests may be rate-limited, and we may revoke access that threatens the stability or security of the Service. Automated or bulk messaging must comply with applicable marketing and privacy law.
4. Enforcement
We may remove content, throttle or suspend access, or terminate accounts that breach this policy, and we will cooperate with law enforcement where appropriate. If you become aware of a breach of this policy, please contact [email protected].
