How a booking works
A customer picks a session and ticket type, answers any questions, and pays (if it's a paid event). They can book multiple sessions and multiple attendees in one basket-style checkout. They get an instant confirmation email.
Guest checkout is on by default — customers don't need an account, but they can create one to see their booking history and rebook faster.
Tickets & QR codes
Every seat gets its own ticket with a unique QR code, generated the moment the booking is confirmed and included in the confirmation email. One booking for four people = four tickets, four QR codes.
Each ticket has:
- A unique code (e.g.
TKT-AB12CD34) and a scannable QR - The attendee's name, the event and the session date/time
- A live status — valid, checked in, or void
A customer can open their ticket on their phone; you scan or tick it off on the day. See Check-in.
If a booking is cancelled or refunded, its tickets are voided automatically and the freed spaces are offered to anyone on the waitlist.
Managing bookings
From Bookings you can view, cancel, transfer or refund a booking (full or partial). Every action is logged for your audit trail.
Getting notified
Every new booking lands in your notification bell at the top of the dashboard. Want a pop-up on your desktop too? Click the bell-with-a-dot icon in the top bar and allow notifications — you'll get a native alert the moment a booking comes in while your dashboard is open. Click the bell again to turn it back off.
